My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that art is not just about producing a beautiful final piece—it is a critical process of problem-solving, observation, and personal growth. In my classroom, I strive to create a safe, encouraging environment where mistakes are celebrated as learning opportunities. Whether we are sketching with charcoal or animating frame-by-frame, my goal is to help every student find their unique voice.

My Creative Practice

When I'm not teaching, I am actively engaged in my own artistic practice. Creating digital illustrations, experimenting with motion graphics, and painting with traditional watercolors keeps me inspired and constantly learning. I bring these real-world insights back to my students, connecting classroom assignments to the vibrant, evolving world of contemporary art.
